Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began when she was just 14 years old. Aspen Laddd started training in kickboxing, BJJ and boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC aged 18. Ladd was able to continue building upon the victory she scored on the night of Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She defeated all her competitors in the initial round. Then she returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia is superior to Aspen as she beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd recovered from this loss to win against Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen turned professional in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she took on Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the first round by TKO. Invicta 16 saw Aspen move to the weight class of Bantamweight following her bout with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill took down McGill, and she was able to end her third round via TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen later faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy using an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb), because Ladd had not made the weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to the point that she finished her with a TKO. At Invicta FC 21, she had her last match for the company. She beat Sijaraebanks via a unanimous vote. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place during UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She beat Lina by a ground and pound win in her second fight. Then, in her third fight she was able to defeat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd ended Evinger during the first round as well as a win of the night bonus. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first major match. Both fighters put up a battle of back and forth that ended with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters receiving their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya in the third round on UFC which was broadcast on ESPN 7. The fight was with Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
