Sharon Yvonne Stone is the only child born to Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former worker in a factory. Sharon was born on 10 March 1958, at Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick, are three of her siblings. Stone started second grade when she was 5 years old. Stone was said as being academically gifted. Saegertown School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was her high school. Her graduation was in 1975. Additionally, she participated at the Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone as well as her aunt relocated from New Jersey to New Jersey to start a modelling career in the year 1977. They signed up for an agency called the Ford Modeling Agency after a couple of months. The next stage was Europe in the course of a year residing with her aunt in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone was disillusioned by the modeling market in Europe, and chose to pursue acting instead. The film of Woody Allen, "Stardust Memories", got mixed praise in her 20s.
